Winners of 2006 CodeCharge Studio Developer Awards
YesSoftware is proud to announce the winners of the 2006 CodeCharge Studio
Developer Awards contest.
The CodeCharge Studio Developer Award honors excellence in the usage of
CodeCharge Studio. YesSoftware has selected the three (3) best sites from the
received submissions based on a review and analysis using the judging criteria,
which include: application scope, function and features; user interface and
usability; usage of CodeCharge Studio features; integration of CodeCharge Studio
with external components; content; and overall experience.
The CodeCharge Studio Developer Award winner will receive a $500 cash prize
and a trophy, while 2nd and 3rd place participants will receive $200 and $100
prizes respectively, and award trophies. All winners may display the CodeCharge
Studio Developer Award logo on their winning applications and websites.
Since not all notable sites receive recognition as a winner due to the
numerous entries received, we also list honorable mentions. We wanted these
sites to receive recognition for their use of CodeCharge Studio.

The Virginia Department of Transportation turned to CodeCharge Studio to
develop its Dashboard Version 2.0. Recognized by many as a front-runner in
government accountability, the Dashboard keeps managers and citizens informed of
VDOT's performance in the core areas of planning, building, operating, and
maintaining roads. The Dashboard aggregates data from over a dozen source
systems to give an integrated perspective on the agency as a whole. The
Dashboard also allows users to drill down and filter data to identify specific
performance problems.
The Dashboard makes extensive use of CodeCharge Studio's powerful and easy to
use Grid control to display data and allow users to sort and filter data. Very
little custom coding was used and the result was an application that was easy to
change as requirements evolved and remains simple to maintain. The Dashboard is
integrated with Microsoft's SQL Server Reporting Services and leverages a simple
web service to provide secure data layer communication through the firewall.

CMS (Classic Motorcycle Supplies) is one of the world's leading eCommerce sites
offering motorcycle parts and delivers over 1,7 million different products
worldwide.
Because Codecharge Studio fulfilled the need for a flexible, low cost, yet
powerful development suite, it was chosen by CMS as their main development tool
for the website. Despite the website's huge
database size (over 3 Gb) and massive traffic, the robustness of CodeCharge
generated code made the CMS website into a reliable, rocksolid eCommerce
application.
